My Earliest Years
I was born again at five years of age. After my mom explained to me what it meant to ask Jesus to come into my heart, I wanted it. I wanted to be saved. Mom explained salvation to me as we were going somewhere in the car and she told me that we would kneel and pray together when we got home but that wasn’t good enough for me. I did not want to wait. I told her “Mom, you have to pull over right now because I want to ask Jesus into my heart now!” And so she did. She pulled the car over on the side of the road and led me to the Lord. I couldn’t wait for the adventure to begin.
I had been hearing the amazing stories about the Bible characters and as a child I was very excited that now I also got to be a part of all the amazing things I was learning about in Sunday school. I was just so overwhelmed at the idea of being like David who slew Goliath or Daniel who survived in the lion’s den that I couldn’t wait to see what God would do with me.
After hearing the story of how Daniel defied the King’s orders and knelt down to pray openly at the window, I asked my mom which window Daniel would kneel at in our house. Mom picked out a window for me to kneel at and I was happy with it. I got to pray just like Daniel at the window! I couldn’t wait to hear more of those wonderful stories of the Bible heroes every Sunday to inspire me even more. Of course I didn’t have an understanding about biblical things but the idea of the adventure and excitement was something that affected me even at that young age. I wanted to be like those “bible guys.”
At school I would tell everyone about Jesus and about this amazing life we could have if we asked him into our heart. I would tell my schoolmates the amazing things I had learned and some asked Jesus into their heart also. The thought of being like these amazing people in the bible really gave me a desire to also follow God like they did.
I don’t know how to express this exactly but I guess that you could say that I was consumed with the idea of being a part of this amazing adventure I was learning about. Every new bible story I heard was more fuel on the fire. But then something horrible happened......

I remember like it was yesterday talking to Dr. Bruce Allen about coming to Perth, Australia to be a part of a school he was conducting there. It was the end of 2014 when he asked me what the Lord had been speaking to me about in that season. I didn’t even have to stop to think about it. I had been speaking to so many family and friends alike who needed miracles in their lives. Many people attacked from the enemy in finances, health, temptations of different kinds, emotional issues, loved ones who needed Christ, many so weary and needing breakthrough. I told him “spiritual warfare.“
Many people have their own opinion when it comes to spiritual warfare , even down to what that term means exactly. Many are fearful about the subject and many believe that if they don’t think about such things, they can’t be affected by them.
To me, I believe that there is a lot to learn. The Bible says NOT to be ignorant.
Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices. (2 Corinthians 2:11 KJV)
The most important thing that we can learn however is who we are in Christ. If we truly get a revelation of who we are, we can begin to understand the authority He has given us. Once we understand who we are and the authority we carry, and I mean truly understand it, we will begin to walk in that authority and see the power of God manifested in our own lives as well as the lives of those we pray for.
Heaven is With Us
I know you may be weary. I understand that feeling only too well. But we are not alone in this battle. The Lord has promised us…
Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.”(Deuteronomy 31:6 NIV)
The Bible says that every knee shall bow. Does that mean someday or does that mean now? Are there situations in your life that need to bow their knee to the name of Jesus Christ? Yes, of course there are.
This is not the time to fall back or to grow weary in the battle. King David, a man after God’s own heart said…
Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a two-edged sword in their hand; (Psalm 149:6 KJV)
There is something powerful happening in the Earth with God’s people. He is pouring out His spirit upon all flesh and that includes you and me. This is the hour of breakthrough!
God had taught me many lessons in the spirit about the spiritual realm, how we are affected by things and the authority we carry. I took those lessons to Perth, Australia in February of 2015. They were things like…
Understanding the Reality of Spiritual Warfare – Who We Are in Christ – The Weapons of Warfare – The Armor of God – Overcoming and Walking in Holiness – Seeing Breakthrough – Living a Powerful Supernatural Life
I can’t take credit for anything that the Lord has taught me on any subject. The revelation came from Him and the glory is His. But I would like to share with you some of the things He has taught me.

Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth. (Psalm 46:10)
There is a key to entering into a deeper place in our relationship with God. It’s a key that not only allows us but helps us to hear His voice better. It’s a key that makes it easier to sense His presence and His nearness… a key that will keep the noise and distraction of the things of the world at bay. It is stillness.
We can read a scripture like Psalm 46:10 and have an idea of what it might be saying to us. For years I looked at this verse and thought that it meant pretty much that when everything is said and done we should just believe God to fulfill His promises. This is true on one level. There is a deeper meaning that only seemed to become clear to me as I spent more time with a focused desire to get closer to the Lord and live a more Spirit-led life according to Galatians 5:25.
If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. (Galatians 5:25)
Be Still with expectation….
Being still for me is a time of coming before God and just sitting in His presence. It isn’t a time of prayer or worship, it not a time of replaying the day in my mind or focusing on the issues in my life. It is simply sitting in God’s presence and being with Him. I don’t meditate on the scriptures normally when I am still before God but I do keep an expectation in my heart that as I spend time with Him that He will manifest Himself to me in some way.
When people have asked “What do you think about as you sit in stillness”, this is my answer… I keep in my heart an expectation.
You see, we hear a scripture like John 10:27 and sometimes we wonder why we don’t hear better.
My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: (John 10:27)
It is so very easy to let the distractions of everyday life to crowd out that still, small voice that God can be speaking to us and even answering the desires of our hearts and we might never know it. Let me give you a practical example… If you were watching television in a room crowded with people taking, and suddenly an important breaking news bulletin came over the TV, you would more than likely ask everyone to be quiet so that you could hear this important message. How much more do we need to hear the important voice of God?
Be Very Still…
What is stillness exactly? The dictionary says that it is the absence of movement and sound. The complete absence? Yes. Just how much do we desire to make this heavenly connection? In complete stillness my focus is upon my proximity to the Lord and my expectation of being with Him. If I am moving about or listening to natural sounds it shifts my focus from the spirit to the natural, even if unintentionally. Many times we have to train ourselves to stop allowing random thoughts to invade this stillness. If you are just learning this discipline, I suggest that you think about a scripture, not to analyze it but rather to allow the Lord to give you an understanding that perhaps you had not considered before. Another thing you might do if various pictures try to invade your thoughts is to picture the Lord’s face. (Or what you imagine the Lord might look like)
The Bible says to bring every thought captive to the obedience of Christ. This is something we must actively do.
Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; (2 Corinthians 10:5)
Be Still a While…
As I began to put this practice into place in my own life, there was a period of learning that took place. I would constantly have to tell my thoughts to be still or my body would want to move around, or I would even begin to wonder if this had the value I had heard that it had. It was all part of the process of learning to be still. In the early days I would wait upon God in stillness for 10 minutes and sometimes even that was a struggle. I gradually increased the amount of time I spent in stillness, but the real breakthrough happened as I began to encounter the Lord and the things of His Kingdom as I practiced stillness before Him.
Once Heaven began to open around me and my life, the struggle to wait on God and be still was gone. What could have happened that was so powerful to take the struggle away from me? Encounters with God…real and powerful encounters with God.
That’s the place where I desire for you to go… that place of encounters with God. Everything changes in His presence!
God bless you
A Powerful Key to See the Unseen – Looking
We are in a special time! God is stirring up desire in His people, to walk in the reality of who they are in Christ. It is an incredible blessing to the entire body that people are coming into this greater awareness that they have a place and that their role is important. Along with this greater awareness, it’s no surprise to me that God’s people , more than ever, desire to see the unseen realm. We are instructed and encouraged in the scriptures to do so.
While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal. (2 Corinthians 4:18 KJV)
Before the Lord gave me personal revelation about seeing the unseen, I had heard for years from prophets and seers alike that everyone can see into the spiritual realm. I’d heard for so long that this gift/ ability was for everyone that I began to wonder if there was something wrong with me. I had the desire but I certainly wasn’t seeing results no matter how many times I stretched out my hands toward the TV for impartation!
Look with Expectation!
I had the desire but what I didn’t have was a practical understanding of how to exercise my spiritual senses. The Bible tells us to exercise our spiritual senses, but how do we do that?
But solid food is for the mature, who by constant use have trained themselves to distinguish good from evil. (Hebrews 5:14 NIV)
Part of the problem was that I had been expecting something huge and overwhelming to happen that would just open my eyes to see. I thought it would be like turning on a TV set. The Lord showed me that seeing in the spirit is not like turning on a TV, but like stepping through a doorway. If you step into a darkened room, or step inside a building out of bright sunlight, you look around with expectation to see, as your eyes adjust to a different level of light. It’s much the same as our spiritual eyes opening and adjusting to see the unseen. We have to actually look with expectation.
How Do We Look?
When we look with an expectation to see spiritual things, by faith, it causes our spiritual eyes to become engaged or to open. For instance, if you are worshipping or praying at home and feel a strong presence of God, so that you know Heaven at the very least is present, look around you! Do you see anything? No? Don't be anxious, but keep looking. When you are at church and worship goes to a level that is tangible, look around! What do you see that is not physical? Remember you are looking with an expectation to see the unseen. Make this a normal and natural part of your life. Always give God the opportunity to cause your eyes to see with greater clarity the things of the Spirit around you. Take this step of faith as often as you are able.
What Do We See?
First, I have to be very open and honest with you. You already see the unseen, much, much more than you realize. Every time you see a flash of light in the room that makes no natural sense, every time you think you see movement out of your peripheral vision, but turn and look and nothing is there, every time you see the things where you have convinced yourself your eyes are “playing tricks on you” you are seeing in the spiritual realm.
If you let this revelation sink in, and then really start to give credibility to these things you see, your spiritual vision will begin to increase and have much greater clarity.
Is That Really an Angel?
One night while I was laying in my bed praying, I happened to look around the room and noticed something odd. In front of me about six or seven feet away, it seemed like the air or the atmosphere was “buckling.” It was something I would have labeled as my eyes playing tricks on me in the past. I just continued to watch that area as I prayed and the vision became more intense little by little until after several minutes, I saw very clearly that an angel was standing by the entryway of our bedroom. If I had not initially looked, I would have missed this awesome sight!
The Lord desires to give us the Kingdom and the things of the Kingdom. He tells us to earnestly desire spiritual gifts! (1Corinthians 14:1) As you pursue Him, He will open your eyes to see the Glory of His Kingdom!
I was speaking with a young woman not long ago about persevering in prayer concerning some of the issues she was facing in her life. She had been praying for several years about certain things but not seeing a breakthrough and after hearing me speak on prayer, she had some questions.
When I speak about prayer or declaring and decreeing things in agreement with the word of God, I often tell people do not stop but continue on until the breakthrough you seek is manifest. The young woman told me that her pastor explained that if you keep praying over an issue in such a way, it means that you are in doubt and unbelief or fear. He told her that she should pray about something and then wait to see God move. He said that she should not pray the way that I suggested. The only problem was that she was weary and needed a breakthrough to these issues in her life.
The odd thing is that I have some level of agreement with her pastor. Yes, if your faith is actually operating at that level then you do not need to keep lifting up the issue before the Lord. The problem is that many of us are not walking yet in the fullness of His promises. So what do we do?
Over the years, as the Lord taught me about prayer and spiritual warfare, I saw that there seems to be a progression of faith that occurs. Most of us don’t immediately get born again and walk in the power of Elijah, but rather we are taught of the Lord and grow into maturity and learn to walk in Him. In prayer, it seems that we first learn that we can address things in the authority we have been given. After we learn to walk in that authority, there will be an increase and we will see greater and more immediate manifestations of God’s power. An anointing to deal with certain issues comes and it isn’t born by accident but rather through our relationship with the Lord and spending time with Him in the secret place.
As our relationship with Him becomes closer, we will see His presence manifest more tangibly in our lives so that His glory will overshadow us and healings and deliverances and other needs will be met just because He is with us / in us in such a way. At that level so to speak, we may not have to say a word.
I must tell you though that this progression does not take forever at all. It is just a matter of yielding to Him and allowing Him to work in us.
Seeing the Unseen
Aside from seeing the reality of this in my own life, why would I believe such a thing? Well…. The scriptures for one thing. The Bible talks about such things as praying without ceasing, the authority we have in Christ, the word of God not returning void, and the anointing breaks the yoke. Also, in many encounters with the Lord He gave me understanding about seeing breakthrough in the realm of the spirit and I will share one such lesson with you.
Not in My House!
One night as I was praying before bed, I looked up by our bedroom doorway and saw a rather tall and wicked looking evil spirit standing there. I thought to myself, there is no reason for you to be in MY house! I began to rebuke this spirit and as I did, I could see no reaction from him whatsoever. He looked at me with contempt and the expression on his face looked as if my words had no effect upon him. I continued to rebuke him and after about twenty minutes he left.
I had seen this happen a few times and so I really sought the Lord for an answer. I know we have authority. Why was this spirit seemingly not affected by the words I spoke?
The Lord told me that the enemy is a deceiver. The spirit wanted me to believe that my words had no power against him, but the reality was quite the opposite. The Lord told me that many times evil spirits will “hang on” because they know that many believers will grow weary and stop. The spirits know that if they can hang on for just a few minutes, they won’t have to leave. The Lord said this is true on many levels. As we pray for the sick, if we don’t see a quick manifestation many times we stop or wait or say “It wasn’t his time” or “He didn’t have enough faith” etc.. But that is not the case. It is just a deception of the enemy. We have been given authority in Christ in the heavenlies and the word of God says that every knee shall bow. Every knee must bow to the name of Jesus Christ.
If you have been waiting for a manifestation of the answer to your prayer, don’t ever stop! It isn’t unbelief or fear but rather the knowledge and trust that what God says is true. Your words spoken in agreement with His word are powerful beyond belief.
Like King Hezekiah, turn your face to the wall and like Daniel, keep lifting up your prayer to the Lord. The Lord heard you from the first day. Your answer is coming!

Supernatural Transportation – God verifying His work
One of the questions that we normally face when we begin to learn of or experience supernatural transportations, or being caught away for the purposes of God, is the question “Is this real or just a dream?”
Most of us start out with little knowledge or experience in such things so we relegate everything we experience to “dream status”. “I dreamt all night that I was praying for people.” “I had a very realistic dream that an angel was speaking to me.” These are the things we tell ourselves because it is our limited understanding coming onto play.
The more we experience these types of things, the more awareness we begin to have about them. If we allow the Lord to give us revelation and understanding, we will soon realize that these experiences are often real and true experiences in the spirit or in the body and spirit as we sleep. (Especially at first)
After a short time we begin to see with clarity that God does indeed do these miraculous things just as He did with Enoch, Elijah, Philip and others. Can the Lord literally take us into the king’s bedchamber just as He did Elisha? Yes. He can and He will, and you will know the secrets that would otherwise be hidden from you.
Seeking the Verification
When I first began to experience this phenomenon, I would get so excited I would try to figure out ways to prove the supernatural events by natural means. For example, if the Lord took me somewhere to pray for someone, I would look up everything I could about the place and people on Google when I returned, so as to have a physical verification of the event.
The Lord never really allowed that to happen as long as that was what I was seeking. There would always be some kind of roadblock to that verification. The Lord later explained to me that He did not want me to try to qualify the spiritual by the physical. He said that in that, I was still believing the physical to be the superior realm. He wanted me to understand that the spiritual realm was the superior realm. It only took me a couple of years before I truly got the point! I stopped seeking for the verification of such things.
Now those of you who know some of my story or have read some of my books know that within our family, these verifications happen quite often. Many times as I prayed over my loved ones I have been translated to where they are and the Lord gives me a peace in doing that. I have shared several such testimonies and if you love people and pray for them (as well you should) it is hugely encouraging to actually be taken to their side as you lift them in prayer. Just like Elisha in the king’s bedchamber? You bet!
I had long given up trying for “proofs” of spiritual things when I began to travel and share in various places across the world. I was focused now on what the Lord had given me to do and leaving the foolishness behind.
Have you ever Been to Macedonia?
Last year I had the honor to speak at a Russian church in Germany. There were several hundred people hungry for the Lord and all seated quietly and listening. That is… al except one guy. There was a young man perhaps thirty years old who was standing to the left of the stage just staring at me. He continued the whole time I spoke. When everything was over and the people were starting to leave he finally came over to me.
“Have you ever been to Macedonia ?” He asked. I said that I have indeed been to Macedonia. . He explained to me that he was a pastor from Macedonia who was visiting in Germany at the time. He then asked me if I had been to the city of Bitola and again I said yes. Then he asked if I had been to the public area where everyone takes walks called Korzo. I again said “yes.” He was still looking at me very strangely and said “Do you go there a lot?” “Yes” I said. “I do.”
He got very excited and said “I knew that I recognized you! You’re the guy who walks up and down Korzo and prays for people right?” I said “Yes, brother, that would be me.”
The Rest of the Story
What I did not tell my dear brother from Macedonia was that for the past couple years the Lord led me to Korzo by a supernatural means, to pray for the people in that place. This had started out for me as just a step of faith. “Going” to Korzo by translation started out by seeing it happen and experiencing it first in my imagination. Then it became more and more real every time I went until finally it led to the point where it was happening.
I had stopped looking for verifications of these types of things a while ago, but I guess the Lord sent that pastor to encourage me and let me to know beyond a shadow of doubt that He still does everything He ever did. Even the awesome miracle of supernatural transportation!
As you experience anything of a miraculous or possibly miraculous nature, always ask the Lord for greater revelation. Whether dreams, visions or any other experience, know that God could be doing more than we realize. Let’s ask Him and find out.
God bless you!
There is a spiritual realm. It is as real if not more so than the physical realm. The Bible says that the visible was created from the invisible.
Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear. (Hebrews 11:3)
To anyone who will pursue an understanding of this reality, God will make it very apparent to them. God wants us to know about these things. He wants us to see the unseen and to have understanding about spiritual things.
So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal. (2 Corinthians 4:18)
Many have an understanding that seeing the unseen, or seeing the angels around our lives is an unnecessary or even frivolous pursuit that takes away our focus on the important things of God such as salvation or healing. I have encountered many people who feel this way, in the church and in ministry as well. I can only answer with the instruction given in the Word of God.
I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people. (Ephesians 1:18)
But blessed are your eyes because they see, and your ears because they hear. (Matthew 13:16)
I counsel you to buy from me gold refined in the fire, so you can become rich; and white clothes to wear, so you can cover your shameful nakedness; and salve to put on your eyes, so you can see. (Revelation 3:18)
In the Bible we are given instruction and encouragement to see. In my own life, several years ago the Lord Jesus himself taught me about seeing in the unseen realm and He never once told me this is frivolous or distracting from important things or that it was only for the “qualified” few. If we seek we will find. This is our promise in the Word. It is my passion to share with you that the spiritual realm, the realm of Heaven and heavenly encounter is right before you. There is a revelation so profound that it will draw you into the deepest places in God. Right where you should be. Once you begin to experience this reality it will “ruin” you for the things of the world. The most exciting things that the world has to offer will seem dull by comparison.
Do you have loved ones who seem enamored by the things of the world? One encounter from God could change everything. There is a spiritual realm and we are supposed to walk in it. And the truth is you can do it. You were created to do it.
These things that I speak of or write of are not by any means just about “seeing your angel.” But rather coming to a relationship in Christ so profound that the things of Heaven are open to you as well. Seek Him, but value also those things of His Kingdom as they by design are also given to you. Do not distain the things from God that seem small or unimportant.
My prayer is that the Lord leads you into the most extraordinary encounters you have ever experienced and that you get closer to Him every day.
I love the book of Ezekiel. There is so much to learn and understand… so much revelation that the Lord has given us there. The times of the last days are laid out before us and some of this revelation seems somewhat open and accessible and other parts seems to be veiled in mystery.
And say to them, ‘This is what the Sovereign LORD says: I will take the Israelites out of the nations where they have gone. I will gather them from all around and bring them back into their own land. Ezekiel 37:21
Sometimes we believe we understand some of the events of the last days because we have studied them so much. Sometimes the Lord has to send clarity to supernaturally help us to understand. I’m so glad He does.
The word of the LORD came to me: Ezekiel 37:15
On January 24th of this year (2017) as I was in my home an angel of the Lord appeared to me in a vision. He was clothed in light and everything about him seemed to convey light. He was about seven feet tall and powerful. His hair was a light blonde color and although I couldn’t tell the color of his eyes, they were also light. He had with him a scroll. He showed me the scroll and told me “Get ready for Ezekiel 38.” I looked at him and said “No… you mean Ezekiel 37.” He responded “No, Ezekiel 38.” And after delivering that message he left.
Almost immediately after this visitation another angel of similar look and stature appeared to me also carrying a scroll. He showed me the scroll and also told me… “Get ready for Ezekiel 38.” I again said to him, “You mean Ezekiel 37.” And he also responded “No, Ezekiel 38.” And after delivering this message he was gone.
And so I will show my greatness and my holiness, and I will make myself known in the sight of many nations. Then they will know that I am the LORD. Ezekiel 38:23
This message from the Lord had a considerable impact on me. I had thought for so long that there were events in Ezekiel chapter 37 that had to come to pass before the days of Ezekiel 38 would happen. The Lord through this visitation allowed me to see that the events of Ezekiel chapter 37 are already being fulfilled and He will make Himself known in the sight of many nations.
The time of “darkness covering the earth and deep darkness the people’” is not a time of fear among the children of God. It is not a time of wringing our hands along with the world, but a time of the glory of the Lord being seen upon you. We are in a time and coming into a time where we must shine brighter than ever. We must reveal the truth of the Gospel and it’s power to save. We must rise up and take our positions to do the will of God as He reveals it to us. This will be a time of unprecedented salvations such as no other time in history.
I encourage you to read Ezekiel chapters 37 and 38 and ask God to help you see everything that He desires to show you. You are created for such a time as this! Bless you!
